Best Kept Village 2019
Judging for this year’s competition started on May 1st and will continue through to July 18th, depending on how successful we are as a village
10 volunteers helped with the village clean-up prior to commencement of the judging process which is slightly more than last year but again disappointing, given that there are 2400 inhabitants of Yoxall.
Apart from the usual range of litter items, the number of cigarette ends collected this year increased dramatically. Sadly many more cigarette ends have been thrown into the gutters since the clean-up, which will hamper our chances considerably.
If you can help on an occasional basis collecting litter, please contact Ange Grandfield whose contact details are in the “Your Council” section of the website.
